IT Compliance and Planning

IT Compliance and Planning is responsible for compliance with IT, campus and CSU policies and procedures, and the planning activities for many aspects of IT operations.

The department coordinates compliance in the area of Information Security and other aspects of IT compliance across the campus. The department leads and coordinates annual reviews of the compliance with ATI, PCI/DSS, HEOA and other compliance requirements, and works with IT Directors and staff to maintain compliance with required legislation, regulations and standards.

The department is responsible for oversight of planning and evaluation activities across the IT departments and providing leadership and coordination in IT-wide strategic planning. An important part of the planning activities is to ensure that input from non-IT business units and campus users are integrated into IT plans. Planning activities include product or service life-cycle reviews, IT department reviews, and project scope and feasibility planning activities.
