Exchange application steps
Exchange places with a CSUMB student and experience the unique opportunity to study at California State University, Monterey Bay! Our University Partner Exchange and National Student Exchange (NSE) programs allow you to study abroad up to one academic year.
This program requires a nomination from your home university or sponsor organization. Please contact your coordinator or sponsor about the nomination process before completing this application.
- Review the Exchange program.
- Review admission requirements.
- Review tuition and fees.
- Download the International Student Guide for detailed instructions.
- Prepare and collect the following documents before starting your application.
- Unofficial Transcript
- Passport
- Proof of Language Proficiency
- Financial Affidavit: Complete the Exchange Financial Affidavit
- Proof of Funding (see guide for examples).
- If Bringing a Dependent - Provide proof of relationship (marriage or birth certificate).
