American Language and Culture Program (ALCP) application steps

Learn and improve your English skills at Cal State Monterey Bay! The American Language and Culture Program (ALCP) include courses to enhance your English skills and learn about American culture. Various program lengths are available. For specific questions about the program reach out to studyenglish@csumb.edu.

Create a personal account on CSUMB Horizons application system.
- In Horizons, select "ALCP - ESL Program (Study English)" and "Apply for" your specific term
  - To register for virtual program, select "Special Programs"
Upload all required documents to Horizons:
- Scanned passport photo page
- American Language and Culture Program Financial Affidavit
