Facilities Management

Access Request

Facilities is using a new process for requesting keys, cards, and alarm codes. To obtain a key, card, or alarm code, the Access Request Form must be completed by the person requesting access and approved by the appropriate administrator.

The Process

  1. Fill out an Access Request Form and get your supervisor's approval.

  2. Submit a Work Request and attach your approved access request form.
Note: Your request will not be accepted without an attached approved access request form. Submit a Work Request

For instructions on how to attach your access request form to your Work Request, see How to Submit a Work Request.

The Lockshop will send an email for once your card is activated or for instructions about your alarm code.

Keys

If you have received notification that your new keys are ready, they are available for pickup starting Nov. 15, 2021 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in Building 37 from Susie Hernandez at 831-582-3700.

Please note: If you have keys to Corporation buildings and still need them, please do not turn those keys in.

Key Pick-Up

The Lock Shop will send a separate email when the keys are ready for pickup. Keys are picked up at the Lock Shop in Building 36 (University Storage). Only the person to whom the key is issued will be allowed to pick up the key. Identification is required and you will be asked to sign a receipt to confirm that you have received and accepted your key.

Master Keys

Master keys are to be picked up at the Lock Shop at Building 36 (University Storage). Please call to set up your appointment at 831-582-3700.

Note: If you receive an email saying your work order is completed, this does not mean your keys are ready for pickup.

All keys must be returned to the Lock Shop at Building 36 (University Storage).
