Internal communications
Primary communication method
The primary method of communication to employees and students is through their official university email. This includes both one-to-one and mass messages important to all faculty and staff. Official messages have a standard format recognizable to employees and will never ask you to enter personal information on a website other than CSUMB.edu.
Emergency messages
Emergency messages from the university will arrive via OtterAlerts, then our emergency webpage and Twitter.
Dashboard
Action-oriented announcements may appear as Messages on the right side of the CSUMB website dashboard. Announcements and selected CSUMB news stories appear on the left side of the dashboard under News.
