Initiating VA Benefits at CSUMB

Newly Admitted CSUMB student veterans and military dependents planning to use Federal VA Benefits at CSUMB must file this form once they have received confirmation of their admission. (this form is only required prior to the first semester that the student wants to use VA benefits at CSUMB or when the student makes an official change of major or degree program)

VA Certification Request Process

Each semester - after you register online for courses you will need to officially request VA enrollment certification by selecting and completing the "Veterans Benefits" option found in the drop-down menu on your Oasis Student Center screen.  Email Veteran_Services@csumb.edu if you have questions or need more assistance with this important process.  

Parent School Authorization

VA Benefit users that need to request authorization for VA certification of courses taken concurrently at another institution should submit this form prior to enrollment at the other school.
