At Cal State Monterey Bay, College of Science students are supported at every stage of their academic journey. From their first semester through graduation, students have access to a strong network of university-wide and college-based resources designed to promote academic success, personal growth and professional development.

University-Wide Support

All CSUMB students benefit from a wide range of campus resources, including:

  • Academic Advising to help plan coursework and stay on track toward graduation

  • Faculty Office Hours and Mentorship
    Science faculty are committed to student success and maintain regular office hours to provide one-on-one academic support, research guidance and career mentoring.

  • Targeted Tutoring and Peer Support
    Programs such as the Science Student Success Program (S3) offer subject-specific tutoring, peer mentoring and workshops that help students build confidence in foundational courses like math and chemistry.
