If you need to take a semester or two off, you can submit a request for a leave of absence to the Office of the Registrar. You must have attended at least one term before you can request a leave.
The deadline to submit Leave of Absence requests is the same as the add/drop deadline for a term. In order for your request to be processed, all classes must already be dropped.
If you are still enrolled, and requesting to withdraw from the university during the add/drop period, please attach your Leave of Absence request to your withdrawal paperwork. If your withdrawal is approved, and your leave request was received prior to the deadline, both requests will be processed.
