Enrollment Verification
Enrollment verification service is available from the Office of the Registrar, both via email and in-person to current students at no cost.
To request your enrollment verification via email, please send an email to records@csumb.edu with the title “Enrollment Verification Request”. In order to validate that the request is coming from you, please use your CSUMB student account email to send the request. Requests from non-CSUMB email addresses will not be considered.
The following information should be included in your email:
- Your name
- Your student ID (9 digit code)
- The term (semester) for verification
- The recipient - who it should be sent to, including their address or email
- If you need to include GPA information, please mention it in the email
- Your contact information (phone)
Please allow 2-3 business days for processing.
Degree Verification
Degree(s) earned may be verified by ordering an Official Transcript.
Students who have applied to graduate and are awaiting final degree posting may request a pending degree completion letter, please send an email to graduation@csumb.edu with the title “Degree Verification Request”. In order to validate that the request is coming from you, please use your CSUMB student account email to send the request. Requests from non-CSUMB email addresses will not be considered.
The following information should be included in your email:
- Your name
- Your student ID (9 digit code)
- The recipient - who it should be sent to, including their address or email
- Your contact information (phone)

Third Parties (Employers/Background screening firms)
CSUMB does not provide enrollment and degree verification service directly to third parties. Instead, enrollment and degree verification is accessible through the National Student Clearinghouse for professional and business organizations. This service is available online, by mail, fax or phone, with a small fee applied. (CSUMB School Code: 032603)
