College of Business Library Update, May 2019
Library update from Business Librarian Stephen Fadel
Here are some titles added to the CSUMB library collection during the spring 2019 semester.
There are two new library Subject Research Guides related to business. They are:
- Entrepreneurship & Small Business
- International Business
You can access them by clicking on the link Subject Research Guides listed on the library's homepage under the heading Start Your Research. Here's a direct link: https://csumb.edu/library/business-research-guide-0
Also, please be aware that the library's Subject Research Guides and Course Guides will shifting to a different platform over the summer. The library will be using a product called LibGuides from Springshare to create revised guides. Content will remain the same, but the look of guides will change.
- Entrepreneurship & Small Business
To help CSUMB business students, I plan to develop a collection of informal YouTube how-to videos focused on different aspects of business research. These will start appearing on different library Business Subject Research Guides. Here's the first:

Located on the third floor of the library, the CSUMB Makerspace is a collaborative project between the College of Education, the College of Science, and the library.
During the summer, the Makerspace will host a few class-scheduled activities with open lab hours resuming in the fall.
