Obirin students arrive at csumb

CSUMB is excited to welcome a group of 18 students visiting from JF Oberlin High School in Tokyo, Japan. Students will live with homestay families and attend classes and activities here on campus as part of the American Language and Culture Program (ALCP). Part of the program includes a partnership with Pacific Grove and Monterey High School, who have invited the students on campus for 3 days of "shadowing" of American high school ambassadors. CSUMB and Oberlin have enjoyed a rich partnership for many years. Please join us in welcoming these wonderful students on our campus!

Held in the heart of Old Monterey, this inaugural "Language Capital of the World® Cultural Festival" will highlight Monterey's rich language, culture, and international affairs capabilities, as well as its Sister City relationships.
