This newly established lab champions ethical practices and sustainable development, striving to balance profitability with a positive societal impact.

Mission and Vision

Our mission is to support faculty and educate our diverse student body in Responsible Business practices, focusing on the Quintuple Bottom Line of People, Planet, Profit, Ethics, and Equity. Within three years, we aim to be a recognized leader in Responsible Business research, education, and reference.

Founder of RBIL

Kelly O'Brien, M.A., is a lecturer in the area of strategic management at the College of Business. She is CEO of Tendaji LLC, a woman-owned, employee-driven consultancy based in Carmel Valley, California. Kelly has also served as a member of the Business Advisory Council and an Executive-In-Residence at the College of Business at CSUMB.
