Campus Data Warehouse

The Campus Data Warehouse is the university’s official source for student-related institutional data. It integrates information from core student systems into a single, centralized database, supporting analysis at every stage of the student lifecycle. Interactive dashboards and reports offer insight into admissions, enrollment, grades, degrees and more — helping users explore trends within colleges, departments and student populations to inform strategies for student success.

Business Reporting (OAS)

Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) is CSUMB’s on-premises, self-service analytics platform for operational and administrative use. It enables departments to connect and analyze data across multiple systems, including Salesforce, PeopleSoft (OASIS) and Excel files. OAS supports data visualizations, machine learning, enriched analytics and automated reports for staff analysts and managers.

Lightcast Alumni Portal

This tool provides data on alumni career pathways, educational outcomes and regional workforce alignment. Users can generate institution-matched profiles and custom reports to support program review and strategic planning.

OASIS Query Viewer

Query Viewer is a reporting tool within PeopleSoft (OASIS) that allows users to access predefined queries or public reports created by others across campus.

CSU Student Success Dashboards

These systemwide dashboards support the CSU’s Graduation Initiative 2025 by providing data that informs equity-focused planning and continuous improvement. They are designed to foster action-oriented dialogue among campus stakeholders committed to student success.

• Graduation Initiative 2025 — Shows how the CSU is working to help more students graduate and to close gaps between student groups. The data tracks student progress, completion and time to degree.
• Department-Level Insights — Gives faculty and departments clear information about student backgrounds and academic progress to support planning and collaboration.
• CSU by the Numbers — Offers a simple overview of student outcomes for current and past students. The data helps show trends over time and the results of student success efforts.

These dashboards provide systemwide and comparative data to support institutional planning, student success initiatives and educational equity efforts. Topics include applications and enrollment, graduation rates, labor market outcomes and teaching credentials.

• Applications and Admissions — Presents CSU application, admission and enrollment data for undergraduate and graduate students. Includes summaries and discipline-specific breakdowns.

• California High School Graduates — Highlights trends in high school graduate counts and CSU eligibility rates across California counties, along with projections of future high school graduates at the county level.

• Degrees Awarded — Provides annual counts of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees issued by CSU campuses.

• Enrollment — Includes enrollment figures for undergraduate and graduate students, disaggregated by academic level, discipline, ethnicity and campus.
