Corporation - University Corporation at Monterey Bay exists to enhance the educational program of the campus; directly serve students, faculty, and staff; and provide services to the public. Although the Corporation is a legally separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, it is a fully integrated part of the California State University, Monterey Bay campus. Learn more.
Student Assistant Employees: CSUMB values our student employees, who support a variety of functions on campus. Student Assistants are students who work up to, but not in excess of, 20 hours per week during academic periods. Under direct supervision, Student Assistants perform duties ranging from unskilled to skilled and/or specialized, in a variety of positions that typically require the use of manual, clerical, public contact, and/or analytical skills. Assignments have limited use of discretion and judgment.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the 2024 Annual Security Report (ASR) for CSUMB and CSUMB at North Salinas is now available to view here.
The 2024 Annual Security Report contains current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and information about drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains three prior years of crime statistics (2021, 2022 and 2023) for CSUMB and CSUMB at North Salinas.

2024 Fire Safety Report Notice of Availability
Pursuant to the Higher Education Opportunity Act, the 2024 Fire Safety Report (FSR) is now available to view here.
The purpose of the FSR is to disclose statistics for fires that occurred within CSUMB housing facilities for 2021, 2022, and 2023, and to distribute fire safety policies and procedures intended to promote safety on campus.
