Change to authentication

In early 2022, IT will retire the "security question" as a multifactor authentication method for all CSUMB logins due to lacking security.

We encourage you to download and set up the Okta Verify app, a more a secure method for logging into your account.

  1. Learn how to install and set up the Okta Verify app on your phone.
  2. Learn how to select an authentication method when you login.

Learn more about multifactor authentication (MFA) or to submit a ticket for assistance with other authentication methods (e.g. security key, SMS and phone call).
