Winter Session Tuition & Fees

Winter Session tuition and fees are charged per credit unit and are separate from regular academic term costs. Review the information below to understand course pricing, additional fees, and payment deadlines to ensure your enrollment is secured.

Course Fees
Tuition is $300 per credit unit, plus a $39 campus fee per session.

How to Pay

Important: Payments must be submitted by the posted payment deadline. Students who do not complete payment by the deadline will be disenrolled from their course.

  • CSUMB degree-seeking students can make a payment online through the CSUMB dashboard.
  • See the Campus Service Center website information on how to make online payments.
  • Select "Registration Payment " for the term you are paying for.
  • Applications can not be processed until registration opens.
  • Please allow 3-4 business days for our office to process your enrollment request.
  • You will receive a confirmation email with further instructions after your registration has been processed.
  • Once you gain access to your account, please make payment online in OASIS (failure to make your payment in time will result in disenrollment).

Continuing CSUMB students may supplement Winter fees with their Spring Financial Aid award. For additional information on financial aid contact your financial aid counselor.

Note: Installment Payment Plans are not offered due to the short duration of Winter Session.

Refund Policy

Refunds are not issued automatically and require processing. All approved refunds are subject to a $10 processing fee and may be applied to any outstanding financial obligations owed to the University. Refunds take a minimum of two weeks to process and will be issued by mail.

How to Receive a Full Refund

  • Students who drop a course prior to the first day of the term will receive a full refund, minus a $10 processing fee.

Refunds for Canceled Classes

  • If a class is canceled, students will be automatically dropped and will receive a full refund.

Other Fee Refunds

  • Campus and health clinic fees ($39) are non-refundable unless:

    • The class is canceled, or

    • The student completes the drop process prior to the first day of the term.

CSUMB degree-seeking and certificate students with access to OASIS:

Refund amounts are determined by the length of your course and the date you drop the course.

  • All dates are calculated using calendar days, not business days.
  • The $39 campus/service fee is non-refundable once the term begins, unless the class is canceled.
  • All approved refunds are subject to a $10 processing fee, unless otherwise noted.

One-Week Courses
