SNS Professor Doug Smith Connects Art and Science

School of Natural Sciences Professor, Doug Smith, presented a lecture titled "Geomorphology: The science behind stunning Central Coast landscapes". Local artists inadvertently capture magnificent geological stories as they paint our coastal landscapes. Professor Smith uses the art as a way to engage and educate our community about the real coastal processes and hazards we face. This is the first collaborative presentation between the MPC Gentrain Society and the CSUMB Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Great job Doug!
