ServiceNow Optimize
Information Technology is pleased to announce an upcoming change in our ticketing system, with the launch of Optimize early this summer.
Developed by the CSU Chancellor’s Office, Optimize is a ServiceNow-based platform that delivers a modern, user-friendly interface to strengthen IT support for technology needs across campus.
When will this change happen?
The tentative go-live date for ServiceNow Optimize is June 9, 2025 for most service tickets with decommissioning the current ticketing platform TeamDynamix by June 20, 2025.
Why the change?
Moving to ServiceNow Optimize allows us to address pain points identified through user feedback and leverage additional resources from the Chancellor’s Office.
Moving to ServiceNow Optimize will:
- Make ticket submission easier with a single submission form, reducing the need to search through an extensive catalog of services.
- Provide a more modern interface
- Strengthen collaboration across the CSU system by unifying our technology standards with other campuses, creating consistency, and fostering a community of shared solutions and innovations.
- Build a partnership with the Chancellor’s Office by expanding collective technical expertise.
