Senior Class Gift
Celebrate your journey at Cal State Monterey Bay by giving back and supporting future students through the Senior Class Gift.
Leave Your Mark. Strengthen the Future.
As a member of the Class of 2026, you have the opportunity to celebrate your journey by giving back. The Senior Class Gift is a meaningful way to honor your experience while supporting future Otters.
Graduates who make a gift of $20.26 or more will receive a Philanthropy Cord to wear at Commencement—a symbol of your pride, gratitude and commitment to giving back.
Join your classmates in creating lasting impact and strengthening the future of Cal State Monterey Bay.
Make an Impact
Your gift can be directed to areas that matter most to you, including student scholarships or campus initiatives like the new Otter statue. Support for the Alumni Vision Scholarship helps future students stay enrolled, complete their degrees and access the same opportunities you’ve experienced. Every gift — no matter the size — makes a difference.
Why Give
Giving back is a longstanding tradition among graduating classes and a powerful way to show your connection to the university. Your participation helps strengthen the Otter community and demonstrates the collective impact of students who believe in supporting one another. When you give, you’re helping create opportunities for the next generation of students while celebrating your own achievements.
Honor Someone Special
Make your gift even more meaningful by dedicating it to someone who supported your journey. You can honor a parent, family member or friend, recognize a faculty or staff member who made an impact, or celebrate a fellow graduating student.
Philanthropy Cord Pickup
Graduates who make a gift of $20.26 or more can pick up their Philanthropy Cord at GradFest. If you’re unable to attend, you can arrange an alternate pickup time by contacting Susan Mangan at smangan@csumb.edu.
Wearing your cord at Commencement is a meaningful way to celebrate your impact and show your support for future Otters.
