Corporate & Foundations Relations
The Corporate and Foundation Relations office builds long-term philanthropic relationships to advance university priorities and programs. We assist the campus community to identify appropriate private-sector funding sources, develop solicitation strategies, work with corporations, cultivate grant makers, prepare proposals, and nurture ongoing partnerships through careful stewardship. For more information, please contact Corporation and Foundation Coordinator, Clarisa Avila, at claavila@csumb.edu or by phone at (831) 582-3352.
Support through sponsorship is designed to enhance the University, allowing for corporate partners to invest in the education of CSU Monterey Bay students, while fostering community involvement. If you are interested in becoming a corporate sponsor, please contact Corporation and Foundation Coordinator, Clarisa Avila, at claavila@csumb.edu or by phone at (831) 582-3352.
National, regional and local foundations and associations support some of CSU Monterey Bay's most innovative programs in teaching, research and service. Foundation Relations officer, Clarisa Avila, establishes introductions, facilitate proposals, and manage the relationships with such foundations to support facilities, campus-wide programs and interdisciplinary and individual faculty research. For more information, please contact Corporation and Foundation Coordinator, Clarisa Avila, at claavila@csumb.edu or by phone at (831) 582-3352.
As a benefit to employees, companies can increase the impact of their employees' gifts to CSU Monterey Bay or other qualifying institutions by matching employees' contributions. Most corporations provide a one-to-one match, while others elect to provide a greater matching amount to further encourage and leverage their employees' philanthropy.
