Well at Work Hours
The purpose of Well at Work Hours is to provide an opportunity for employees to prioritize themselves, their work, along with their mental health and wellness. The hallmark of Well at Work Hours is that the entire CSUMB community will honor a no meeting practice* on Fridays from 12-2pm.
*Due to course scheduling/room availability, classes may still be scheduled and held as normal. Ideally, this Well at Work space is sacred, however there may be unforeseen circumstances or urgent matters that may require meetings during this time.
Examples of Well at Work Hours practices for employees to consider:

Enjoy their meal break, on or off campus; have lunch with colleagues or other professional contacts (make meaningful connections!

-
“Catch up” on email and/or their calendar for the following week (wrap up the week!)
-
Work independently or with colleagues on a project that has been challenging and needs some dedicated, uninterrupted time to complete (with no meetings to worry about!)
-
