Student Affinity Centers
The Affinity Centers at Cal State Monterey Bay foster a sense of belonging, empowerment, and advocacy. Through community-building, education, and leadership development, we provide inclusive spaces where students can explore their identities, engage in meaningful dialogue, and access resources that support their personal and academic success. Our goal is to cultivate a campus culture that celebrates our diverse community and encourages inclusivity. All students, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin, who are interested in Student Affinity Centers are welcome.

The Otter Cultural Center fosters an inclusive, equitable, and empowering environment for all students that celebrates the rich cultural identities, histories, and lived experiences of our diverse campus community. The OC3 promotes student success through culturally affirming programs, collaborative partnerships, and transformative learning experiences. OC3 actively bridges the university with the campus community to inspire individuals to reclaim their stories, identities, and community cultural wealth. Through culturally responsive programs, identity-affirming spaces, advocacy, and intentional partnerships, we work to create a campus culture rooted in respect, and that values inclusive excellence.
