The College of Science has received a $3M grant from the U.S. Department of Education which will support the launch of our new Mechatronics Engineering degree. This grant, titled Building an Effective Ecosystem for Equity in STEM Careers, has been awarded to the College of Science, and resulted from a collaboration between PI Daniel Fernandez, Andrew Lawson, Thomas Horvath, Provost Katherine Kantardjieff and the Office of Sponsored Programs
