Elementary students from two Monterey Peninsula Unified School District (MPUSD) schools — Foothill Elementary and Dual Language Institute — visited CSU Monterey Bay in February as part of a new program called CSUMB AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination).

SEASIDE, Ca., January 30, 2020 – Two California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) University Police Department (UPD) officers were recognized this week during the second annual CSU Police Commendations Award Ceremony at the Office of the Chancellor in Long Beach, California.

The following letter was issued to the CSUMB campus community on January 30, 2020.

SEASIDE, Ca., January 26, 2020 – California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) was ranked #9 amongst like-institutions nationally in a recent Institute of International Education (IIE) Open Doors report for sending students abroad for long-term programs during the 2017-2018 academic year. A long-term duration is categorized as an academic or calendar year.
