Non-Exempt Employees
Non-exempt (or ‘overtime eligible’) employees are those whose primary work assignment is in a classification ( represented or non-represented) that is determined to be non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Non-exempt employees are subject to the overtime provisions of FLSA and are eligible for overtime and, if permitted by a collective bargaining agreement, compensatory time off.
