International partner visitor information

To ensure that guests of the College of Extended Education and International Programs have a successful visit, we request that you review the information below carefully and fill out the Visitor information form as accurately as possible.

If you are not an International Programs partner or guest, but would like to visit the university. Please see the campus tours page.

Dates not available for visitation

We greatly look forward to your visit and hope to accommodate your schedule as best as possible. There are some dates that are not conducive to creating a positive visitor experience. These dates include campus buildings closures, limited staff availability, or coinciding events. Thank you for your flexibility.

For additional information for guests to our campus:

  • From the Airport: (drive time depends upon traffic)

    If you are flying into Monterey Regional Airport (MRY), we recommend that you:

    • Take a taxi/uber/lyft – a 7 mile ride for about $40, or
    • Rent a car – a 7 mile drive

    If you are flying into San Jose (SJC) or San Francisco (SFO) International Airports, we recommend that you:

    • Rent a car – a 70 mile drive from SJC; a 100 mile drive from SFO, or
    • Take the Groome Transportation Shuttle ($51 from SJC; $62 from SFO if booked online). Drop off is available on the campus of CSUMB. Once you begin your reservation you can choose CSUMB.
