Students attending this workshop will learn more about what drives them and how they can stay motivated. They will set at least one goal for themselves, and identify barriers and rewards to help keep them on track.

rita (she/her/hers) is a financial empowerment educator, facilitator, and coach. She brings 14+ years of social justice experience from movement-building, direct service, and education spaces to her financial work. She founded Community Roots Financials (CRF) to create and hold space for low-income and working class communities to be whole, joyful, and free through financial empowerment.

Academic Senate and Academic Affairs are resuming CSUMB Connects. From 4-6PM in the University Center Auditorium, you are invited to visit with colleagues and build your network across our campus community. Light refreshments and snacks will be served. Come meet and learn about Basic Needs and First Year Experience/Orientation departments. We'll play Kahoot to see who knows the most about the units. The top three scores will get CSUMB Swag!
