Note: Attendance at prior sessions is not required
This series will:
- Explore intersectional issues of the transgender and gender nonconforming experience,including, race, ethnicity, complex gender identity, class, and disability
- Identify best practices for addressing transgender issues on campus, including housing, name/identification, and mental health concerns
- Develop skills and share resourcesfor supporting transgender and gender nonconforming students, faculty, and staff on campus
Facilitator: Willy Wilkinson, MPH
An award-winning writer and public health consultant who is recognized widely for his expertise in transgender issues, he has trained and advised close to 300 community health organizations, businesses, and educational institutions on how to provide equal access forLGBT populations. Willy has extensive experience with communities of color, substance users, youth, and people with disabilities.
