The College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences is proud to share an exhibit of select artwork by Frans Lanting and Chris Eckstrom in the CAHSS 504 Gallery.  "Bay of Life: From Wind to Whales" brings together land and sea for a unified view of Monterey Bay.  The exhibit at CSUMB is presented in partnership with the Monterey Museum of Art.  The opening night featured an artist talk followed by a walk through of the exhibit, which features a sliver of the extensive collection specifically selected for CSUMB to showcase.

From lanting.com:  Frans Lanting and Christine Eckstrom have documented the crown jewels of our planet's natural heritage for National Geographic for more than three decades, and they consider Monterey Bay to be one of them.

The exhibit will be on display at the CAHSS 504 Gallery now through the end of July/early August, gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm.  All are welcome free of charge (parking permits are required on campus 24/7).
