Program overview

The menu on the left provides information on the vision, mission, and goals of the CSUMB Master of Science Physician Assistant program. Brief biographies of the faculty and staff provide insight on their dedication to the mission and commitment to student success.  
 
The inaugural cohort that graduated in May 2021 and the cohort that graduated in May 2022 both achieved a 100% pass rate on the PANCE and a 97% first-time taker PANCE pass rate each year. PANCE results for the Class of 2023 graduates will be posted once all of their scores have been received.

Students are required to participate in all program activities, comply with all program and university policies, and demonstrate professional behavior as defined in the MSPA Student Handbook. Students are assessed through written examinations and performance evaluations throughout the duration of the program. Students must pass each component of the curriculum to make satisfactory progress in the program.
