Classification
Classification is the process of organizing and grouping positions together on the basis of similar duties and responsibilities. Classification structures for CSUMB employees are established by the Chancellor's office. For more information refer to the CSU Classification Standards.
Please consult with the Classification & Compensation team at classcomp@csumb.edu when creating a new position or when a position is changed significantly due to reorganization or reassignment of duties.
