CHRS

Welcome to CHRS

The Common Human Resources System (CHRS) is a single HR system for all CSU campuses and the Chancellor’s Office. By unifying technology across the CSU, CHRS will streamline processes, standardize data, and improve services for employees, managers, and HR teams. CHRS strengthens collaboration and supports a more connected CSU community.

How Will CHRS Impact Me?

The implementation of CHRS introduces a modernized approach to managing employee data at CSUMB.

  • Enhanced User Interface – CHRS features an updated design with fluid pages, tile-based navigation, and a responsive layout, aligning with the existing OASIS and CFS environments.
  • Expanded Self-Service Options – Employees will have 24/7 access to update personal information, including addresses, emergency contacts, disability status, ethnicity, preferred name, gender information, and Paycheck Designee, without the need for paper forms.
  • Optimized HR Processes – CHRS improves workflows in key areas such as time and absence management, recruitment, benefits, and temporary academic employment. A new HR Data Warehouse will improve the quality of HR data and reporting.
