Humanities and Communication majors at CSU Monterey Bay have access to several scholarship opportunities that support academic achievement, financial need, and professional goals.
Available Scholarships
Beverley Cooper Crampton Memorial Scholarship
Available to students in the English Studies and English Subject Matter Preparation concentrations.

Must plan to become an English teacher in the Tri-County Area

Must have completed at least 60 units

Awarded based on financial need
Suzanne W. Killian and Jack R. Killian Scholarship for Arts and Communications
Available to students majoring in:

Music and Performing Arts

Visual and Public Art

Humanities and Communication

Cinematic Arts and Technology
Requirements:

Full-time enrollment

Minimum 2.5 GPA

Awarded based on financial need
Debbie Juran “Beyond Tomorrow” Award
Available to majors in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS), including Humanities and Communication students.

Open to CAHSS majors in good standing (minimum 2.0 GPA)

Awards up to $1,000

Supports academic or career-related expenses

Florence C. and Alwin Krause Scholarship
Available exclusively to HCOM majors who demonstrate financial need.

Awarded based on financial need
Last year, more than 40 students received Krause Scholarships totaling nearly $250,000.
