GradFest is your one-stop celebration and preparation event for Commencement at Cal State Monterey Bay. Connect with campus partners, purchase your regalia, take graduation photos and get everything you need to confidently step into your big day as an Otter graduate.

GradFest is a one-stop shop for those preparing to graduate. Purchase a cap and gown, order Commencement invitations, buy a class ring, have graduation portraits taken, socialize with other graduates, get free professional clothing from Otter Outfitters and more!
Spring GradFest 2026
April 7th and 8th, 2026
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ballroom, Otter Student Union, Lower Floor
Purchase your regalia: Regalia — a cap and gown for undergraduate students or a gown and hood for graduate students is required for participation in the commencement ceremony and can be ordered through Herff Jones. Regalia purchases may also be done in-person at GradFest or at the Campus Store.
Important Shipping Dates (Spring 2026):
Last day to pre-order your regalia for pick-up at GradFest: March 1st
Last day to order for standard shipping: April 23rd
Last day for rush shipping: May 4th
Representatives from the Alumni Association, Financial Aid, Career Development, Otter Cross Cultural Center and many others will be available to answer questions and get graduates ready for their big day!
