Cao Thang Bui, Ph.D

Dr. Bui earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stony Brook University in 2021, following the completion of his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from the same institution in 2016 and 2019, respectively. His research is centered around the management and enforcement of access control policies to safeguard computing resources, data, and information. Prior to his current role at CSUMB, Dr. Bui served as an Interim Program Director and Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Information Systems Department at West Virginia University, Institute of Technology (WVU Tech).
