New Student Convocation is Cal State Monterey Bay’s official welcome for incoming first-year and transfer students. This campus tradition marks the start of your academic journey and celebrates your place in the Otter community.

At this event, you’ll connect with fellow students, hear from campus leaders and learn about the values, history and traditions that shape the Cal State Monterey Bay experience.

Attendance is required for all new students.
