Care Coordination

OtterCare’s non-clinical care coordination connects students with the resources, support, and guidance they need to succeed. Whether you’re dealing with a temporary setback, ongoing challenges, or just unsure where to start, our team works with you to identify solutions and connect you to resources.

A Student worker

OtterCare also coordinates the campus response to students experiencing significant challenges or critical incidents. Through a weekly Care Team meeting, representatives from across campus collaborate to support students of concern, ensuring a coordinated approach that addresses both immediate needs and ongoing support for overall well-being and academic success. The Care Team is facilitated by the Director of OtterCare and includes partners from key departments such as the Dean of Students, Academic Advising, University Police Department, Health & Wellness Services, Student Housing and Residential Life, and Student Conduct.

Students can schedule a Care Coordination appointment based on their needs, from meal and financial support to health recovery, parenting resources, and general guidance navigating campus systems.
