Ride with us on the vast 82 mile trail network that Fort Ord National Monument has to offer, or take a casual ride along the Coastal Trail to Monterey.
The Otter Cycle Center is here to fulfill your two wheeled college adventures with bike rides, rentals, parts, repairs and clinics.
Bike Rental
The Otter Cycle Center offers CSUMB Students bike rentals at student rates. You can rent for a full academic year (Fall & Spring semester), or just a single day, and anything in between.
Rentals will include the following:
- Bike
- Helmet
- U-lock

Short term rentals are rental periods can be 1 day or more. Typically folks will rent for a day to do a ride with friends, or a weekend to take advantage of the local trails. Performance bikes can be rented for up to 7 days, non-performance bike have no limit on rental period.

Long term rentals are limited to non-performance bikes. Long term rentals include:
- Lock and helmet
- Free monthly check ups - Brake, shifting, chain lube, tire pressure check
- 3 free tube replacements - 10.00
- Free assistance with bike

Bike Repair
The Otter Cycle Center provides a repair shop at discounted rates for CSUMB student, staff, and faculty. In addition to our tune-up and repair services, the Otter Cycle Center has free services for your use including: air pump and trip planning.
Do you know how to work on your bike but just don't have the space or tools? Come on by during regular service hours with your bike and you can use the stands and tools. We just ask that you put things back where they belong and clean up after yourself! If you have any questions please stop the the shop and we can answer any of your questions.
Parts, and some labor are subject to 9.25% sales tax.
