The following is a message from President Eduardo M. Ochoa.

Tomorrow marks the 20th anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001. As we go about our day, let us pause a moment to remember the victims of those events, the bravery of first responders in New York and Washington DC, and the lives of so many Americans that will never be the same.

Our world changed that day, much as it has changed during the current pandemic, but CSUMB continues to be a community of hope and aspiration. For those in the Otter family that were impacted by 9/11, we extend our deepest sympathies. Those that were lost have not been forgotten.

As always, should any member of our community need help during these difficult times, CSUMB can help in providing grief counseling, emotional support, or just someone to talk to. We are here for you and here for each other.
