In honor of Dr. Eric Tao's contributions to the Institute for Innovation and Economic Development (iiED) as founding director, California Institute for Global Education makes an annual donation to the Startup Challenge Monterey Bay competition to support the Student Award winner.

While iiED no longer produces the Startup Challenge, we are grateful for Dr. Tao’s continued support of iiED programs and projects.
