Log in to your CSUMB Dashboard/OASIS and access Online Payments to make your payment. You can also set up an account for another payer once you log in to OASIS and click on the "Make a Payment" link.

For your convenience, CSUMB offers four online payment options to current students:

  • Electronic check (eCheck)—no fee!
  • Credit card or debit card
  • 529 Savings Plan
  • International payment

What you should know before you make an e-check payment:

  1. There is no fee for using the eCheck online payment option.
  2. You will need to have the routing number and checking account number ready. If you are unsure whether your bank account can be used for an eCheck payment, please contact your bank to verify that the account and routing numbers are compatible with ACH payments. If they cannot, then please do not pay by eCheck or use an alternate account that permits it.
  3. Account numbers printed on ATM or check cards are not acceptable for online payments.
  4. Incorrect account information will result in a Returned eCheck Fee ($25.00), and you will still need to make the payment as it will not have gone through.

What you should know before you make a credit card payment:

  1. There is a non-refundable 2.65% convenience fee charge on credit card payments. 
  2. To process your payment, you will need to have the card number, expiration date, billing address and the 3-4 digit card ID.

Cal State Monterey Bay utilizes BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution powered by BMTX, Inc., to deliver your student refund.

How do I select my refund preference?

  1. Log onto your CSUMB Dashboard.
  2. Click on the OASIS link.
  3. On your Student Center page, under the Finance section, choose “BankMobile Disbursements.”
  4. Select how you would like your money delivered.

Please keep in mind that you may not have a refund pending at this time. However, we encourage you to select your refund preference in advance to avoid a delay in receiving any potential student refunds.

What are the three refund options?

1. Deposit to an Existing Account
Money is transferred to an existing account the same business day BMTX, Inc. receives funds from your school. Typically, it takes 1 – 2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.

2. Deposit to a Bankmobile Vibe Account
If you open a BankMobile Vibe Checking Account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day BMTX, Inc. receives funds from your school.

3. Paper Check Delivered by USPS
A check will be mailed the same business day BMTX, Inc. receives funds from your school, provided receipt is within daily cutoff times. Typically, it takes 5 – 7 business days for the check to arrive, depending on USPS First-Class® delivery timeframes.

*Please note: To avoid any delays in receiving your student refund, you must select a refund option.

What if I already have an account from another school?

Students who have existing BankMobile Disbursement accounts with another school will still have to go through the refund selection process for their account with CSU Monterey Bay.

Opt In to Receive Your 1098-T Electronically

Disclosure Information: The tax information listed on this site provides guidance on how and where to obtain necessary tax forms. CSUMB representatives are not authorized to provide answers to technical tax-related questions. Please contact your CPA or the IRS ( 1-800-829-1040) for all tax inquiries.

The 1098-T form displays tuition charges only, excluding payments or charges related to housing/meal plans. If Financial Aid covered your tuition, you are not eligible to receive the 1098-T form. The information on the form is for the calendar year, January to December. The system looks at the Financial Aid (grants, scholarships) received vs. tuition charges in the calendar year. If the aid you receive is more than you are charged, you won't receive a 1098-T form.
