Procurement and Contracts Services

At our University, procurement is more than buying supplies; it’s about making smart, strategic choices that support teaching, research, and campus life. We ensure that the right materials, equipment, and services are delivered on time, at competitive prices, and to the exact specifications the campus community requires.

Procurement and Contracts build strong partnerships with both internal departments and external suppliers. We listen, offer expert advice, and follow ethical, sustainable, and cost-effective practices. We’re proud to champion opportunities for small and disabled veteran-owned businesses, helping strengthen our campus and local economy.

The Procurement Specialists act as official agents of the University, negotiating fair prices, securing competitive bids, managing contracts, and ensuring every purchase meets University policies. From monitoring supplier performance to resolving issues quickly, we work to deliver value, reliability, and exceptional service.

Through strategic sourcing and a commitment to integrity, we help keep the University well-resourced, resilient, and ready for the future.

Navigating CSU Contract Terms

Start with the CSU Terms and Conditions of Purchase as the default contractual terms. Add Riders only when the procurement requires additional terms or requirements that are not already addressed in the CSU Terms and Conditions of Purchase. The workflow will determine when additional Riders are required based on the specific procurement.
