Program Pathways

MA+ Elementary Education

The MA+ Elementary Education (Multiple Subjects) Credential Program allows students to earn a Masters degree while completing their credential.

Special Education with Clear Credential

School Psychology

The CSUMB School Psychology Program provides candidates knowledge & skills needed to promote personal, social, and academic development of all students, including those who are culturally and linguistically diverse. The program prepares effective school leaders, change agents, problem solvers, consultants, and advocates for children and youth.

MA+ Secondary Education

The MA+ Secondary Education (Single Subjects) Credential Program allows students to earn a Masters degree while completing their credential.

Curriculum and Instruction

The Master of Arts in Education provides advanced training to prepare effective professional educators who implement evidence-based practices to promote meaningful outcomes in our schools and communities.

MA+ Credential

The MA+ Credential Program allows students to earn a Masters degree while completing their Elementary or Secondary Education Credential. Summer/Fall 2017 Applications will open October 1st.

• Year-long residency experience with a Master Teacher

• Earn credential after 1 year as you continue towards the Masters degree

• Interns are not eligible for this program

Special Education (with Clear Credential)

CSUMB now has a CCTC approved Clear Education Specialist Credential Program! We will be offering this program within the Master of Arts in Education, Special Education Emphasis Program, and are now accepting applications for the Fall 2016 semester, beginning October 1st.

To apply, please go to Cal State Apply and complete the application for CSUMB's Master of Arts in Education Program. We have a priority admissions deadline of August 1st, 2016. Please contact Darlene Moitoso, dmoitoso@csumb.edu, with any application questions within a week after submission.

MA with PPS: School Psychology Credential

The CSUMB School Psychology Program provides candidates knowledge and skills needed to promote personal, social, and academic development of all students, including those who are culturally and linguistically diverse.
