The Student California Teachers Association (SCTA) Club is open to all students in the College of Education and students across the campus interested in a single-subject credential.

The Club hosts several activities to help build students' professional skills and/or simply gather socially to build community. In the last two years, they have initiated participation in two annual CBEST test preparation courses, a CPR training, and conference attendance, including Teaching 4 Social Justice. They also aim to encourage social event gatherings: like Lindy/salsa Dancing, applied improvisation, hiking, disk golf, mindfulness training, and other opportunities to promote healthy balanced professional lives.

Members are mentored into officer roles! Come join the club activities and discover your hidden potential for leadership! Officers receive letters of commendation at the end of the academic year for their role in the club. Students interested in joining the club should contact President Natalie Correa ncorrea@csumb.edu or the club advisors, Dr. Gage ogage@csumb.edu or Dr. Neddeau bneddeau@csumb.edu.
