Canvas: Beyond the Basics (Intermediate) – Explore advanced features such as gradebook settings, mastery paths, analytics and collaborative tools.

Introduction to Artificial Intelligence Tools for Teaching and Learning – Explore AI tools, classroom applications, detection strategies and policy development.

Online Instruction Certification – Become certified to teach online at CSUMB. This course covers Canvas foundations, course design, digital learning standards, accessibility and meaningful online interaction. It also meets the CSU CourseMatch training requirement.
In addition, CSU Online Course Services through the Chancellor’s Office offers free professional development each semester. Faculty interested in quality-focused training such as QM or QLT are encouraged to explore available grant opportunities.
