DART and CSUMB awarded $2 million James Irvine grant to advance equitable aviation and drone workforce training on the Central Coast

University Corporation at Monterey Bay and the Institute for Innovation and Economic Development are partnering with the Monterey Bay DART Initiative to expand workforce training in aviation and drone technology. Supported by a $2 million James Irvine Foundation grant, the project will create internships, training programs, and opportunities for inclusive economic growth across California’s Central Coast.
