Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)
Save on Out-of-State Tuition with WUE.
What is WUE?
WUE is a scholarship program with the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). Students pay a reduced out-of-state tuition fee equal to 150% of California resident tuition. Residents of these western states/territories are eligible to apply for WUE, including:
Alaska, Arizona, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Guam, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Republics of Marshall Island (RMI), Republic of Palau, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, & Wyoming.
Download the WUE Contract and return it to admissions@csumb.edu for review.
Important Note: Only admitted students may qualify for WUE. Make sure you apply through https://www.calstate.edu/apply and submit your WUE contract after you have received your admittance letter from Cal State Monterey Bay.
