Below you’ll find important admissions deadlines for first-year, transfer, and graduate applicants. Please review each date carefully and plan ahead to ensure all required materials are submitted by the appropriate deadline. Meeting these deadlines is essential for full consideration for admission and related opportunities.

Fall 2026 Term - Undergraduate Admissions Deadlines

January 15	Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) deadline
March 2	Financial aid (FAFSA) priority deadline
March 6	Initial transcript deadline
March 6	Submit official AP, IB, and/or CLEP scores (if applicable). Send the AP Score Report or the CLEP Transcript.
July 1	CSUMB application deadline
July 9	First Year - Deadline to submit official high school transcript with final grades and date of graduation
July 9	Transfer - Deadline for all final, official transcripts
July 17	Enrollment confirmation deadline

Spring 2027 Undergraduate Student Deadlines

July 1, 2026	Apply to CSUMB at Cal State Apply
August 31, 2026	CSU priority application deadline
October 1, 2026	Spring housing application opens for new students
October 1, 2026	File your 27-28 FAFSA and add CSUMB to your 26-27 FAFSA
October 9, 2026	Initial document deadline - submit all official documents (transcripts, test scores)
December 1, 2026	CSUMB application deadline
December 4, 2026	Deadline to submit your enrollment confirmation
January 8, 2027	Deadline to submit final, official documents (transcripts, test scores)
Students are accepted on a rolling basis.

October 1, 2026 - March 2, 2027	File your 27-28 FAFSA
October 1, 2026	Submit your Fall 2027 application to CSUMB
November 30, 2026	CSU priority application deadline
February 15, 2027	Initial document deadline - submit all official documents (transcripts, test scores)
March 2, 2027	FAFSA priority deadline
May 1, 2027	Deadline to submit your enrollment confirmation
July 9, 2027	First Year - Deadline to submit official high school transcript with final grades and date of graduation
July 9, 2027	Transfer - Deadline for all final, official transcripts with Spring 2027 grades

Disbursement of Funds - Second Week of the Semester

Financial aid funds will start to be disbursed to student accounts during the second week of the semester.

What will cause a delay in disbursement?

The following are reasons why a student's funds may not be available by the typical disbursement date:

A late application submitted after the March 2 priority deadline
Missing documents or incomplete file
You have not accepted your financial aid offer on your OASIS account
Not completing a Direct Loan Master Promissory Note
Not completing the online Loan Entrance Counseling
Not meeting the minimum requirement for enrollment: 6 units undergraduate, 4 units for Master's students
Not meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy
Unresolved university charges
Being in default on a student loan or owing a repayment to any Title IV financial aid program
