Technology Services & Operations (TSO) is the front line of technical support at Cal State Monterey Bay. We provide responsive, hands-on assistance to help students, faculty and staff stay connected, productive and supported.

Whether you visit us in person, call for help or submit a ticket online, our team is here to resolve issues quickly and connect you with the right resources.

How We Support You

Customer-Focused Technical Support
We offer multiple ways to get help, including:

  • Walk-up Technology Help Desk in the library

  • Phone support at 831-582-4357

  • Service ticket submission and tracking

Our team reviews, assigns and updates service requests to ensure timely resolution.

Hardware & Software Support
We maintain and support campus-owned:

  • Desktops and laptops

  • Lab computers

  • Audio/visual equipment

We troubleshoot a wide range of hardware and software issues to keep classrooms, offices and learning spaces running smoothly.

Account & Application Support

  • Log-in and account access issues

  • Google Workspace administration and troubleshooting

  • Coordination with other IT teams for specialized support

Campus Communication
We notify the campus of technical outages and service disruptions to keep the community informed.
