As an Otter alum, you’re able to set a powerful example to current and future Otters about what it means to be a CSUMB graduate by volunteering and supporting our campus community.

Continuing the Vision

“Continuing the Vision” means encouraging alumni to continue supporting the CSUMB community after graduation by engaging in both personal and professional volunteer opportunities.

Join your fellow alumni in giving back by volunteering!

Event Support

Alumni volunteers support a wide range of university events. Volunteer positions may include set up or take down, ushering, staffing an alumni booth and other various opportunities.

Some volunteering opportunities include Coffee and Donuts each semester, GradFest, reunion events and more.

Commencement

Commencement ceremony volunteers help Alumni Association staff to sell alumni merchandise – with proceeds benefitting scholarships – and generally answer questions making the day fun for all.
