As a Cal State Monterey Bay graduate, you continue to shape our community long after commencement. Continuing the Vision means staying engaged, supporting students and strengthening connections across our alumni network.

Ways to Get Involved

Event Support

Alumni volunteers play an important role in university events throughout the year. Opportunities may include:

• Event setup and breakdown
• Greeting and ushering guests
• Staffing an alumni table or information booth
• Supporting reunion and engagement activities

Volunteer opportunities may include Coffee and Donuts, GradFest, reunion celebrations and other campus events.

Commencement

Commencement volunteers support Alumni Relations staff during one of the university’s most meaningful celebrations. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with alumni merchandise sales (proceeds support scholarships)
• Answering questions for graduates and families
• Helping create a welcoming, celebratory experience for all
